
Mt. Navajo (the pointy one in the middle of the photo) is only around 13,000', but has a nice steep snow slope and some good 5.5 rock. A great day trip, and it looks cool. The route goes up the left side of the large glacier in the middle of the photo (40-50 degree snow) then meanders up easy rock along the skyline you see here. Make sure to get good beta for the descent.

A word of warning to prospective climbers: The descent from Navajo is a bitch if you don't know exacty where you're going. Descend the chimney to the southeast, then stay high to make sure you get into the second gully, which contains a wrecked airplaine. Descending the first gully on the left (which we did) involves hours of misdirected downclimbing around many short, wet cliffs and is generally exhausting and unpleasant.
